Each year, thousands of central Pennsylvanians are faced with the extraordinary emotional and financial difficulties associated with a cancer diagnosis. The Bob Perks Fund was established to provide financial support for basic necessities to individuals and families dealing with cancer.
YMCA of Centre County
The YMCA of Centre County is a charitable, non-profit organization that provides opportunities to all individuals and families in the community by putting high moral values and principles into practice through facilities, programs, services and activities that build healthy spirit, mind and body. The YMCA of Centre County fully accepts diversity and promotes community development and cooperation.
Centre volunteers in Medicine
Centre Volunteers in Medicine will serve and advocate for the medically underserved residents of Centre County.
The Second Mile
Is a non-profit organization providing nine prevention, early prevention and community-based programs to over 100,000 youth throughout Pennsylvania. The Second Mile challenges young people to achieve their potential as individuals and community members by providing opportunities for them to develop positive life skills and self-esteem. The organization also provides education and support for parents and professionals addressing the needs of youth today.
